It typically contains things like: employee personal information, job information, payroll, expenses, vacation, performance reviews and benefits.
Since all this information is stored in one place, it’s often used as a single source of truth for employee data, and reports are built based on the information stored in a HRIS.
The HRIS helps internal teams improve their processes and stay organised.
