Company culture is essentially the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of a company and it’s employees – kind of like the personality at an organizational level. It’s sometimes also referred to as organizational culture, workplace culture, or corporate culture.
A variety of elements can be encompassed by company culture. For example: leadership style, workplace feel, mission and values, incentive structure, team dynamics, ethics, and much more.
Developing a company culture happens over a long period of time and can be challenging to change, especially in large organizations. Culture is also shaped by everyone at the company – not only the leadership at the top.
