When we started Back, we set out to make good on the idea of digitalization in the workplace. It should create efficiencies and strengthen the ways teams collaborate. In the past year, we’ve helped leading tech companies remove information silos and communicate with colleagues and employees more easily. We’re proud of our progress and eager to reiterate our pledge for delightful employee service.
We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ve raised $3.3 million in seed financing to expand our employee service platform and grow our team. The funding is led by La Famiglia, with participation from Gradient Ventures, Point Nine and Seedcamp. We’re happy to welcome an incredible group of angel investors and operators, including former Microsoft Head of Corporate Strategy Charles Songhurst, former Orange Board Member Matthias Hilpert and Eventbrite co-founder Renaud Visage.
This investment comes at a time when companies around the globe are moving towards a remote workforce. Many of them have suddenly and unexpectedly become remote-first. While organizations are facing new pressure to adapt to new constraints, ensure productivity, and engage employees in a human way, across geographies and timezones.
In the coming months, we’ll be working to enhance the ways you work with Back, including adding new integrations and workflows.
